Dr. Desso earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where she laid the foundation for her exceptional career in pain management. She further honed her skills through rigorous training during her residency and fellowship at the University of Utah Health Science Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This advanced training provided her with a comprehensive understanding of complex pain conditions and cutting-edge treatment techniques.
At West Tennessee Bone and Joint Institute, Dr. Desso is dedicated to providing personalized care that addresses each patient’s unique needs. After spending several years advancing her career out west, Dr. Desso is excited to return closer to home. She grew up in Henderson, Tennessee and is proud to bring her wealth of experience back home. Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Desso enjoys being with her husband and their two children. She loves traveling and camping with her family. In her downtime, she can be found cycling, skiing, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Dr. Desso’s diverse interests and commitment to family life enrich both her personal and professional spheres.
