          At West Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic, P.C., we offer the latest in state of the art technology for osteoporosis evaluation by having the Bone Densitometer. Osteoporosis is a disease that weakens the bones to the point of breaking. If bone loss is detected early, its effects may be prevented.

          The Bone Densitometer is similar to having an x-ray exam. However, the amount of radiation absorbed is much less than that received from a chest x-ray.
